Reports said that many civilians were injured after forces resorted to pellet firing on protesters who were trying to disrupt the anti-militant operation.

They said that clashes erupted after a gunfight broke out between militants and forces in Awneera village.

 

Reports said that many civilians were injured after forces resorted to pellet firing on protesters who were trying to disrupt the anti-militant operation.

 

The injured were shifted to SDH hospital Yaripora and District Hospital Kulgam for treatment.

 

Meanwhile, a fierce exchange of fire is going on in the village where three militants are believed to be trapped.
